Suraiya Bibi Mr. Dibyendu Chatterjee Ms. Satabdi Das Mr. Rahul Deb Goenka Mr. Mainak Singha Barma Ms. Ankita Banerjee Ms. Ananya Chakraborty ....for the Petitioner This application under Article 227 of the Constitution of India is at the instance of the plaintiff praying for a direction upon the learned Civil Judge (Junior Division), Haldia to dispose of the Title Suit No.231 of 20111 (CIS 435 of 2014) expeditiously. Mr. Chatterjee, learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the hearing of the suit is being adjourned from time to time at the instance of the defendant.

In view of the order sought and proposed to be passed, this Court feels that there is no necessity to direct issuance of any notice upon the opposite party. However, learned advocate for the petitioner shall be obliged to forward a copy of this application along with this order upon the opposite party or upon the learned advocates representing the opposite party before the learned Trial Judge.

From the order sheet appended to this application this Court finds that 25th March, 2025 was fixed for filing additional written statement and for payment of cost by the plaintiff. Mr. Chatterjee submits that the cost has already been paid by the plaintiff in the meantime.

CO 1606 of 2025 is disposed of with hope and trust that the learned Civil Judge, (Junior Division), Haldia shall make endeavors to see that the Title Suit No.231 of 20111 (CIS 435 of 2014) is disposed of as expeditiously as possible without granting any unnecessary adjournments to either of the parties. With the above observations and directions, CO 1606 of 2025 stands disposed of.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be furnished to the parties expeditiously upon compliance of all legal formalities.
