Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been implicated in the present case on the basis of the statement of co-accused and similarly placed accused person has already been granted bail.

Mr. Gauranga Kr. Das, learned Additional Public Prosecutor along with Ms. Tanusree Kar are appearing for the State. Their appointments may be regularized by the concerned authorities. Learned advocate appearing for the State opposes the prayer for bail.

I have taken into account the period of detention and the time which will be consumed and as the petitioner is similarly placed as other accused namely, Nur Mahammad @ Nur Mohammad Mahaldar who has been granted bail in CRM (NDPS)

640 of 2026, I am inclined to extend the same benefit to the present petitioner.

Accordingly, petitioner namely, Samim Sk be released on bail on same terms and conditions as was imposed in CRM (NDPS) 640 of 2026.

Thus, CRM (NDPS) No. 946 of 2026 is allowed.

All parties shall act in terms of server copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
