Mr. Imdadul Biswas ....for the petitioner Ms. Iti Dutta ....for the State The writ petition is taken up for consideration in presence of the learned advocates representing the petitioner and the state respondents.

The learned advocate representing the petitioner submits that the matter relates to 1st SLST, 2016 (Classes XI and XII).

Petitioner has sought for appropriate direction in connection with the aforesaid selection process.

It has been jointly submitted by the learned advocates representing the parties that the entire selection process of 1st SLST, 2016 (Classes IX, X, XI and XII) has been set aside by the Hon'ble Division Bench and issue is pending before the Hon'ble Supreme Court. In view of pendency of the issue before the Hon'ble Supreme Court at present no order need be passed on this writ petition.

Accordingly, the writ petition stands dismissed.

However, this order shall not preclude the petitioner to take steps in accordance with law, in future if situation so arises.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, is to be given to the parties upon compliance with the necessary formalities.
