Mr. Kusal Kumar Mukherjee ... for the petitioners Mr. Sudip Ghosh Mr. Sekhar Barman ... for the State Learned senior Counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that there is no direct evidence connecting the petitioners with the murder.

Learned Counsel appearing for the State opposes prayer for bail.

We have considered statements of witnesses recorded under Sections 161/164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure stating that the petitioners being armed with various weapons were seen going away from the spot and had made utterances admitting their guilty.

In view of the aforesaid facts prima facie disclosing involvement of the petitioners in the crime, we are not inclined to grant bail to them.
