Petitioners complain that the private respondents are restraining the petitioners from entering their property and to that effect several complaints were advanced to the Officer-in-Charge, Nandigram Police Station, till date no steps have been taken and whenever the petitioners approached the said authorities they are being abused and threatened of dire consequences including murdering them. Having considered the plight expressed by the petitioners and the fact that the complaints have been made to SDO, police authorities would ensure that there is no threat to the life of the petitioners over the dispute relating to the property. To that effect, if the petitioners are so advised will file a fresh representation with the same police station. The

concerned Inspector-in-Charge/Officer-in-Charge will take steps in accordance with law.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 11165 of 2024 is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
