Heard learned counsels for the parties and the Principal of the College, who is present in Court personally.

Learned counsel for the University submits that in view of the stand taken by the NCTE that B.Ed. Special ideally should be considered to be equivalent of B.Ed. for the purpose of admission in the course for Master's Degree, the University cannot take a different view. The University would, thus, give necessary registration to the petitioner for his admission.

At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that today is the date for submitting the practicals. Therefore, the petitioner may be allowed at

least a week's time to do the same and the college authorities would accept them.

In view of the fact that the University has undertaken to give necessary registration to the petitioner, no further order need be passed in this regard. However, the college shall allow the petitioner to submit his practicals within a week from this date. Within three days therefrom, the college authorities shall send the marks to the University. All the respondent authorities shall act on the basis of the above. With these observations, the writ petition is disposed of.
