The petitioner is the widow daughter of Late Keshab Chandra Mondal, who was an Assistant Teacher of a Primary School, District - Paschim Medinipur. He died on 06.01.2009. The mother of the petitioner died on 28.01.1986. The petitioner applied for pension in terms of the Circular of the State No. 96-SE dated 13th April, 2010 which remain unconsidered.

In those circumstances, the Director of Pension, Provident Fund and Group Insurance, West Bengal shall consider the petitioner's representation which is appearing at page 22 of the writ petition.

The petitioner has already made an application to the D.I. concerned who shall calculate the pension payable to the petitioner taking into consideration the PPO issued to her father and mother in terms of the Circular dated 13.04.2010. The papers shall then be forwarded to the concerned DPPG. The DPPG shall thereupon issue

PPO in favour of the petitioner within a period of one month from date. The petitioner shall be entitled to pension from the next date of death of her mother i.e. 07.01.2009.

The petitioner shall be entitled to receive all arrears in terms of such Circular dated 13th April, 2010.

Let the arrears be paid to the petitioner within a period of two months from the date of issuance of PPO.

With the aforesaid directions, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.
