This is a matter filed by 36 petitioners who all are external candidates for High Madrasah External Examination. West Bengal Board of Madrasah Education by one notification dated 19.06.2021 has notified as to the future of such candidates which has been quoted in this court's order on 26th July, 2021. Today learned advocate for the State and the learned advocate for the West Bengal Board of Madrasah Education have submitted that the matter may be considered by the Department of Minority Affairs and Madrasah Education of this State. Therefore, I direct the petitioners to add the Principal Secretary of Minority Affairs and Madrasah Education Department as a party respondent to this writ petition and send a copy of this writ application with a brief note of facts enclosed therewith for consideration of the problem that is being faced by the external examinations. I find that it is a matter which relates to policy decision, whether to be taken or not, by the appropriate government and there is no such

reason as of now as to why this court will interfere into the policy making power of the government.

With the above observation I dispose of this writ application. The policy decision will be taken up within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy along with a short note and the copy of the affidavit by the Minority Affairs and Madrasah Education Department.
