Earlier, a progress report was called for on 26.4.2024. The report reflects that four of the accused persons are absconding and the next date has been fixed before the ld. trial court is on 3rd of September, 2024. In view of the report so submitted, the ld. trial court is directed to resort to harsher process of law for ensuring the appearance of the absconding accused persons. If, after execution of due process, the four absconded accused persons are not available, in that case, the ld. court would take steps for splitting up of the trial and proceed with the case.

With the aforesaid observations, CRR 1662 of 2024 along with CRAN 1 of 2024 is disposed of.
