Petitioner complains of police inaction.

Learned Advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the police are not acting on the complaint dated June 2, 2021.

The private respondents are hindering the ingress and egress of the petitioner who is a tenant. Learned Junior Standing Counsel appearing for the State submits that the complaint was enquired into and on enquiry, the police learnt that there is a civil suit pending between the private parties. According to him, the disputes are essentially civil in nature and relate to the tenancy.

In the facts of the present case, there are disputes between the private parties relating to a tenancy. There is a civil suit pending. A Writ Court need not interfere in such circumstances.

WPA 11043 of 2021 is disposed of accordingly without any order as to costs.
