Petitioner is directed to serve a copy of the revisional application upon Mr. Md. Anwar Hossain, learned advocate who ordinarily appears on behalf of the State. His appointment may be regularized by the concerned Authorities in due course. Learned advocate for the petitioner has drawn the attention of this court to the relevant enclosures which reflect that the case was initiated in the year 2011 and only two witnesses have been examined till date.

Having regard to the fact that almost 12 years have expired since the initiation of the case and the petitioner being the brother-in-law has been implicated as an accused, I direct the learned Judicial Magistrate, 5th Court, Howrah who is in seisin of the present case to fix at least two dates in a month for the purpose of the case so that the trial can be concluded at the earliest. Learned Magistrate would seek assistance of the Deputy

Superintendent of Police/S.D.P.O of the jurisdiction who would ensure regarding the appearance of the witnesses and in case if any witness is absent file a report to that effect before the court concerned. All efforts be taken so that the trial of the case is concluded by 31st July, 2024.

With the aforesaid observations, the present revisional application being CRR 1572 of 2023 is disposed of. Pending applications, if any, are consequently disposed of.
