The petitioner professed to be a 'tantrik'. The victim took her children to the petitioner for some treatment. There the petitioner molested and raped the victim. This is the allegation.

The petitioner says that he has been falsely implicated. He has no role to play in the alleged incident. He is a cultivator. He is in custody for about 250 days. We have been the statement of the victim lady. She has vividly described the heinous act of the petitioner.

Given the nature and gravity of the offence and the material on record which prima facie implicates the petitioner, although charge sheet has been filed, we are not inclined to allow the petitioner's prayer for bail, at this stage. CRM 4535 of 2021 is dismissed.

We are told that charge has been framed on March 20, 2021. We request the learned Trial Court to expedite the trial to the extent possible and bring the same to its logical conclusion as soon as the business of the Court may permit.
