Mr. Ganguly, learned advocate appearing for the writ petitioner, submits that the writ petitioner worked as a civic volunteer since 2013. Thereafter, the writ petitioner was demobilized. The writ petitioner prayed for reinstatement in his duty of a civil volunteer by a representation dated March 30, 2020.

Mr. Dhole, learned advocate appears on behalf of the State respondents.

In the circumstances, I direct the Superintendent of Police (Rural), Hooghly/respondent no.

to consider the representation of the writ petitioner within 8 weeks from date, strictly in accordance with law and communicate the same within 1 week of passing the order.

With the directions aforesaid, WPA No. 9860 of 2022 is disposed of without any order as to costs.
