Pursuant to the order dated 12th June, 2025 petitioner and Headmaster of Khirpai High School, appeared before the respondent no.3 on 17th June, 2025 and required documents were submitted for settling pension case of the petitioner. Pension papers were verified and same were vetted by the office of the Deputy Director of Audit & Accounts, School Education Department, Paschim Medinipur and thereafter pension case was forwarded to the Director of Pension, Provident Fund & Group Insurance on 20th June, 2025 for taking necessary steps.

In this regard a report dated 26th June, 2025 prepared by the District Inspector of Schools (SE), Paschim Medinipur is placed before this Court and taken on record.

In view of steps taken by the respondent no.3 as indicated in the report dated 26th June, 2025 this Court finds there is no impediment in issuing pension payment order in favour of the petitioner. 4.

As Director of Pension, Provident Fund & Group Insurance being respondent no. 6 has received pension case of the petitioner on 20th June, 2025, said respondent no.6 is directed to issue pension payment order by fortnight from the date of communication of this order.

On issuance of pension payment order concerned State authorities are directed to release retiral dues including pension in favour of the petitioner at an early date but not later than four weeks thereafter. 6.

The writ petition stands disposed of.

Petitioner is granted leave to make a prayer before the concerned State authority for grant of interest due to delayed payment of retiral dues.

If such prayer is made within reasonable time, it is expected that said authority shall consider the same in accordance with law.

9.

However, there shall be no order as to costs.

10. Urgent photostat certified copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties, upon usual undertakings.
