Biswas ... for the respondent nos. 6, 7, 9 & 10 The petitioners are aggrieved by the inaction of the Inspector-in-charge of Garhbeta Police Station. The petitioners allege that they have specifically informed the police authorities regarding the stones being thrown and damages being done to their property. But, in spite of the same, no steps have been taken.

Learned advocate for the respondent nos. 6, 7, 9 and 10, submits that the respondent no.3 was never made a party to the suit proceeding and the

order passed by the Executive Magistrate has been stayed by the higher forum.

Learned advocate for the State has submitted a report which reflects that a proceeding under Section 126 of the BNSS has been drawn up against both the parties. The order of injunction passed by the learned Civil Court has also been conveyed to the parties. Learned advocate also submits that the concerned Officer-incharge, Garhbeta Police Station has kept a strict vigil.

However, having regard to the fact that there is a long standing dispute existing between the petitioners and the private respondents, the concerned Officerin-charge would continue his/her surveillance and ensure that no breach of the peace and/or tranquility takes place as also no untoward incident results because of the strained relationship existing between the parties.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 10352 of 2025 is disposed of.

Pending application(s), if any, is also disposed of.

Report so submitted be kept with the record. Copy of the report be handed over to both the parties.
