The petitioners have filed this PIL without specifically disclosing that they are parties to WPA 27176 of 2023. In all fairness, this was the minimum expectation from a litigant to disclose about the other litigation pending in which they are party.

Even if the said litigation has only a thread relation with the present one, mere filing of a copy of the order dated 7.5.2024, being annexure P1, does not throw any light as to whether the present petitioners are party respondents in WPA 27176 of 2023. Litigation in the Court is not a

game of chess. The party must approach the Court with clean hands, clean mind, clean heart and clean objective. The petitioners have completely failed to fulfill the said duty towards the Court. Thus, we are not inclined to exercise our discretionary jurisdiction under Article 226 of the Constitution of India. However, it will be open to the petitioners to oppose WPA 27176 of 2023 by filing an application etc. in the said matter.

With the aforesaid observations, this petition is disposed of.
