Case no. 4561 of 2012 pending before the learned Judicial Magistrate, 7th Court, Howrah, the matter may be disposed of without service of notice upon the opposite party. The opposite party shall not be prejudiced by an order directing expeditious disposal of the matter. It appears that the FIR was lodged in 2012. Charge was framed on 8th December, 2022. None out of the five witnesses has been examined till date.

Since the matter is pretty old, learned trial Court is directed to dispose of the matter within one year from the next date of hearing fixed before him without granting any unnecessary adjournments to either of the parties, in accordance with law.

C.R.R. 1665 of 2024 is disposed of.
