Copy of the engagement order dated May 17, 2023 issued by the Executive Officer, Old Malda Municipality mentioning that the petitioner is engaged as Sahayika in Debipur Sishu Siksha Kendra under Old Malda Municipality for one year subject to renewal for further engagement is taken on record.

Learned advocate for the petitioner submits that though the order of engagement has been issued but as the Debipur Sishu Siksha Kendra is presently enjoying the summer vacation, accordingly, she cannot go and join.

As the engagement order has been issued in favour of the petitioner on May 17, 2023, the engagement of the petitioner shall be treated to be with effect from May 17, 2023 irrespective of the fact that the Debipur Sishu Siksha Kendra is presently undergoing summer vacation.

Necessary honorarium shall be disbursed in favour of the petitioner by taking into consideration her date of engagement as May 17, 2023.

Affidavit-of-service filed in Court today be kept on record. The engagement letter of the petitioner is also kept on record.

The writ petition stands disposed of.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties on compliance of all necessary formalities.
