Two persons were injured.

One of the injured suffered multiple contusion. There is a cut injury in the skull of such person.

The injured in their statements stated that the petitioners assaulted the injured by fists and blows as also by a bamboo stick. The assault by the bamboo stick was on the head which led to the cut injury on the skull.

The injured in their statements also stated that in the event neighbours did not interfere, the two injured persons would have been killed.

Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioners in the incident, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

Prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioners is rejected.

CRM (A) 1841 of 2023 is dismissed.
