The grievance of the petitioner has been addressed. The amount due from the petitioner to the tune of Rs. 7,172/- has been received by WBSECDL. The authority has given no dues certificate dated May 17, 2024, indicating that there are no outstanding dues against the pilferage bill that had been served upon the petitioner in respect of Theft Case No. 63 dated February 16, 2005.

The court records that the petitioner has paid the assessment as per the final order in connection with the Theft Case No. 63 dated February 16, 2005 as it appears from the certificate issued by the Divisional Engineer and Station Manager, Baguihati Customer Care Centre.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. 4.

However, there will be no order as to costs.
