Muslehuddin ...for the petitioner Mr. Krishnendu Bhattacharya, Ld.APP Mr. Sankalpa Bhattacharjee ...for the State Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners submits that there was an altercation between family members which resulted in injuries on both sides, but none was grievous in nature. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State relies on the case diary and opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail. He submits that the petitioners assaulted the victims with iron rods, brickbats and other things. One of the victims received a serious injury on a vital part of the body, like the head. The other one received fracture injuries in humerus and the proximal end of the radius. Considering the above and the other incriminating materials available in the case diary, I do not consider this is to be a fit case for granting anticipatory bail.

Accordingly, the application for anticipatory bail is rejected.
