This is an application for recalling of an order dated 8th June, 2023, in a disposed writ petition. It is a well settled principle of law that once a Judge passes an order, he becomes functus officio and that Judge can only entertain any review or contempt of his own order, but he cannot rehear the matter and take a different view by acting as an appellate authority over his own order. Accordingly, this application being CAN 1 of 2023 is dismissed. However, dismissal of this application will not be a bar for the petitioner to pursue the remedy available to the petitioner before the appropriate forum in accordance with law. ( Md. Nizamuddin, J.)
