Mr. Indranil Halder ... for the petitioner Mr. Asif Dewan ... for the WBSEDCL The grievance of the petitioner is directed against the failure of the WBSEDCL in providing an electricity connection for the submersible pump of the petitioner.

On behalf of WBSEDCL, a communication dated 12th May, 2026 is filed in Court. It appears from such communication that due to technofeasibility reasons, no electricity connection could be granted for the submersible pump of the petitioner. A copy of the above communication is handed over to the petitioner.

In view of the above, the issues raised by the parties cannot be adjudicated upon in this proceeding.

WPA 10846 of 2026 stands disposed of.

Liberty is granted to the petitioner to take necessary steps, if so advised, insofar as the communication dated 12th May, is concerned.

It is made clear that there has been no adjudication on the merits of the case and all issues are left open to be decided by the Appropriate Authority in accordance with law. (Ravi Krishan Kapur, J.)
