The petitioner renews his prayer for bail. He says that he has been in custody for 410 days. He is the husband of the victim. He says that all other accused persons have been granted bail. There is no progress in the trial. It is anybody's guess as to when the trial will conclude.

We have seen the material in the Case Diary. The incident occurred within eight months of marriage. Prima facie, there are material to inculpate the petitioner.

Further, a co-ordinate Bench of this Court rejected the petitioner's prayer for bail by an order dated February 10, 2021 passed in C.R.M. 8163 of 2020. There is no apparent change of circumstances thereafter which may persuade us to consider the petitioner's renewed prayer for bail.

Accordingly, the application for bail being C.R.M. 4517 of 2021 is dismissed.

However, since the petitioner has been in custody for quite sometime, we request the learned trial Court to expedite the consideration of charges and generally bring the trial to its logical conclusion as early as the business of the Court may permit and preferably within a period of 18 months from date.
