The police authorities have already initiated Raidighi PS Case No.296 of 2022 dated June 13, 2022 under Sections 188/323/506/34 of the Indian Penal Code, on the basis of the complaint filed by the petitioner. The petitioner alleged that the respondent nos.6 to 8 had threatened the petitioner with dire consequences.

Under such circumstances, nothing further remains to be decided in the writ petition, save and except that the police authorities shall complete the investigation expeditiously in a free, fair and judicious manner. The other rights of the petitioner in respect of the property in question, will be decided by the civil court.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. However, there will be no order as to costs.

All the parties are directed to act on the basis of the server copy of this order.
