Mr. Debayan Ghosh Mr. Nazir Ahmed ... for the respondent On 21st August, 2017, a co-ordinate Bench of this Court in CRR 2743 of 2017 held that orders passed in the execution proceeding are appealable under Section 29 of the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005 and hence, a revision petition of this court is not maintainable.

In view of the above, the present revisional application challenging an order passed by the Magistrate in respect of the proceeding under the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005, is not maintainable.

However, the petitioner would be at liberty to invoke the appellate remedy in accordance with law.

Office is directed to return the certified copy of the order to the learned Advocate for the petitioner upon furnishing a xerox copy of the same.

The revisional application being CRR 2029 of 2025 is, accordingly, disposed of.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order may be supplied to the parties expeditiously, if applied for.
