Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that inspite of information being furnished to the Inspector-in-Charge, Hasnabad Police Station on or about 02.05.2025 no steps have been taken.

Mr. Ganguly, learned advocate appearing for the State has submitted report. Report reflects that on the basis of the information furnished by the petitioner which was received on 07.05.2025, Hasnabad Police Station case no. 256 of 2025 dated 09.05.2025 has already been registered for investigation.

Learned advocate appearing for the respondent nos. 5 to 10 is present and submits that the petitioner initially had subjected the respondent to severe physical assault.

Having considered that the police authorities have already taken steps, I am of the view that further pendency of the writ petition is unwarranted. Consequently, WPA 10358 of 2025 is disposed of. Report so submitted by the State be kept with the record.

Copy of the report be handed over to both the parties.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
