1. The petitioner is aggrieved that she has not been given her House Rent Allowance (HRA) from July 2012 to November 2019.

2. Mr. Ghosh, learned Advocate appearing for the respondent no. 8 and 9, submits that the petitioner has to give a requisite declaration that she is entitled to HRA.

3. Even though the petitioner by her letter of August 25, 2021 had foregone her HRA due to "nonavailability of HRA documents from the spouse, the college authority is willing to pay such HRA for the afore-stated period, if the requisite documents and declaration are deposited by the petitioner".

4. In view of the afore-stated, the petitioner is directed to submit requisite declaration for the period July 2012 to November 2019 by March 24, 2026. The college authority will disburse the HRA after

appropriate adjustment that may be required on account of re-fixation of arrear claims to the petitioner. Such disbursement is to be made by April 10, 2026.

5. With the afore-stated direction, the writ petition is partially allowed and accordingly disposed of.

6. There shall, however, be no order as to costs.
