1. Report submitted on behalf of the NCB filed in Court be taken on record.

2. Co-accuseds are on bail.

3. One co-accused was granted bail by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Special Leave Petition (Crl.) No. 2685 of 2024 on April 8, 2024.

4. Learned advocate appearing for the Narcotic Control Bureau (NCB) submits that there is hardly any distinction between the petitioner and the co-accused who is on bail.

5. Petitioner before us is on interim bail granted by the coordinate Bench.

6. No incident of misuse of interim bail by the petitioner is drawn to our attention.

7. In such circumstances, we confirm the interim bail granted to the petitioner on May 9, 2024.

8. Accordingly, we direct that the petitioner shall be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only), with two sureties of like amount each, one of whom must be local, to the satisfaction of the learned Judge, Special Court, NDPS Act, Krishnagar, Nadia subject to condition that the petitioner shall appear before the learned trial court on every date of hearing until further orders and shall not intimidate witnesses and/or tamper with evidence in any manner whatsoever.

9. In the event, the petitioner fails to comply with the conditions as enshrined hereinbefore, it is open to the trial court to cancel the bail without further reference to this Court.

10. The prayer for bail of the petitioner is allowed.

11. CRM (NDPS) 711 of 2024 is disposed of.
