Since the connected suit is for eviction and it is contended that even the application filed by the defendant/opposite party under Section 7(2) of the West Bengal Premises Tenancy Act, 1997 (for brevity "the 1997 Act") is yet to be disposed of, C.O. No.1251 of 2021 is disposed of by requesting the Civil Judge (Junior Division), Second Court at Serampore, District: Hooghly to dispose of the applications, including the application under Section 7(2) of the 1997 Act, pending in the said court in connection with Title Suit No. 525 of 2019, as expeditiously as possible, positively within one

month from the date of communication of this order to the court below and, thereafter, to dispose of the suit itself within one year thereafter.

The petitioner shall communicate this order to the opposite party and/or the advocate(s) for the opposite party appearing in the court below as well as the trial court, along with a server copy of this order.

The parties as well as the court below shall act on such communication, without insisting upon prior production of a certified copy of this order. There will be no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be made available to the parties upon compliance with the requisite formalities.
