For the State The petitioners are the husband and father in law of the victim who met with an unnatural death within one year of her marriage in her matrimonial home.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that six out of thirteen witnesses (including the defacto complainant) have been examined and all of them have turned hostile. Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer and submits that other vital witnesses are yet to be examined. I have considered material on record. Allegation against the petitioners is serious in nature. The victim was murdered in her matrimonial home within one year of her marriage. Vital witnesses are yet to be examined.

Considering the nature and gravity of the offence as well as prima facie involvement of the petitioners therein, prayer for bail is rejected at this stage.

The bail application is disposed of.
