Statement of witness as well as CDRs show petitioner was in constant touch with the victim immediately prior to the incident. Keeping in mind the aforesaid fact and the gravity of the offence, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail is rejected. Trial court is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same at an early date without granting adjournments to either of the parties.
