Heard the learned Counsels appearing on behalf of the parties.
Petitioner renews his prayer for bail. He submits that recovery of narcotic substances on his leading statement is false.
We have considered the materials on record. Recovery of narcotic substance on the leading statement of the petitioner is supported by independent witness. Prayer for bail of the petitioner was rejected In January, 2022.
In view of the aforesaid facts and as prayer for bail of the petitioner was rejected in January , 2022 and in the light of the statutory restrictions under Section 37 of the N. D. P. S. Act, we are of the opinion that this is not a fit case to grant bail to the petitioner.
Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.
Trial court is requested to expedite the trial and conclude the same at an early date without granting unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties.
