Learned lawyer for the State opposes the prayer for bail.

We have considered the materials on record including the statements of witnesses and other materials which show petitioner was last seen with the victim and on his leading statement weapon of offence was recovered. Keeping in mind the aforesaid incriminating materials on record and the gravity of the offence, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
