Heard Mr. Dilip Kumar Samanta, learned Counsel for the appellants. None is present for the respondents.

The appeal arises out of order dated 19.04.2021 passed by the Hon'ble Single Judge in WPA 1502 of 2021.

The writ petition was filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus, commanding the appropriate authorities of the State to consider and decide the representation vide Annexure P/5 to the writ petition and to grant certificate of fitness of the vehicle belonging to the petitioner mentioned in detail in Annexure P/5 to the writ petition by extending the time to deposit the insurance money till June, 2021. After hearing, the Hon'ble Single Judge dismissed the

writ petition for some technical defects and also on merit.

It is fairly submitted by Mr. Samanta, learned Counsel for the appellant that after disposal of the writ petition, the reliefs sought for in the writ has been extended to the petitioner by the Government in view of the pathetic COVID condition. The petitioner has got the reliefs sought for in the appeal.

In view of such development, in our considered view, this appeal has become infructuous. Accordingly, we dismiss the appeal as infructuous by extending our appreciation to Mr. Samanta, learned Counsel for the appellant for his fairness.

All interim applications are hereby stands disposed of.
