Let the affidavit of service be taken on record. 2.

The present writ petition has been filed alleging unauthorized construction by private respondents on government land. It is the case of the petitioner that the private respondents are raising unauthorized construction on the Zilla Parishad land without obtaining any permission.

The said fact is disputed by the learned counsel for the private respondents. He states that they have been granted additional permission by the Zilla Parishad to carry out the construction.

Learned counsel for the petitioners states that they made a representation before the District Magistrate, Purba Medinipur District, Ganapotinagar,

Uttar Sonamui, District Purba Medinipur on 28.03.2024.

Learned counsel for the state respondent states that no decision has been taken on the representation of the petitioners. He further states that he had no objection in deciding the representation of the petitioner.

In view thereof, the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent No. 2 to decide petitioners' representation dated 28.03.2024 by passing a speaking order within a period of eight weeks after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioners as well as private respondents from the date of communication of this order in accordance with law. 7.

Urgent certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of necessary formalities.
