1. Petitioner seeks expeditious disposal of CGR 3829 of 2023 corresponding to Kalighat Police Station Case No.167 of 2023 (R-2526/24) under Sections 498A/406/34 of the Indian Penal Code and 3 & 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

2. State is represented.

3. Learned Advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that, the prosecution is not producing the witnesses on date fixed.

4. Learned Advocate appearing for the State submits that, appropriate steps will be taken to produce the prosecution witnesses on the date fixed.

5. In such circumstances, the criminal revisional application is disposed of by directing the prosecution to produce the prosecution witnesses on the date fixed.

6. Prosecution no doubt will show adequate cause for nonproduction of its witnesses, if there be any such requirement due to non-production of prosecution witness.

7. Learned jurisdictional Court is requested to dispose of the proceedings as expeditiously as possible.
