Heard learned counsels for the parties.

The petitioner is in custody for about 7 months and submits that charge sheet has been submitted. His further detention is not required. He prays for bail. Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer. I have considered the material on record.

It appears that fake Indian currency notes were recovered from the possession of the petitioner. Charge sheet has been submitted. Trial is yet to commence. Considering the nature and gravity of the offence, the prayer for bail is rejected at this stage.

The application for bail is thus disposed of. Case diary be returned.
