The grievance of the petitioner is that, the appellate forum had not disposed of the appeal of the petitioner filed under the provisions of the Right to Information Act, 2005. The appeal is appearing at page 23, Annexure-P4 to the writ petition.

To subserve justice, the respondent no.7 shall decide the appeal strictly in accordance with law with reasons positively within a period of six weeks from the date of communication of this order.

Since affidavits are not called for, the allegations made in the writ petition are deemed not to have been admitted by the respondents.

It is made clear that this Court has not gone into the merits of the claim of the petitioner and the appellate

authority shall decide it by applying its independent mind strictly in accordance with law.

The decision of the appellate authority shall be communicated to the petitioner positively within a period of two weeks from the date of the said reasoned order to be passed.

On the above terms this writ petition, WPA 10517 of 2023 stands disposed of, without any order as to costs.
