Report submitted by the learned advocate appearing for the State be also kept with the record. The petitioners are aggrieved by the fact that although the information which was furnished with the police authorities resulted in registration of Kalyani Police Station Case No. 321 of 2025 dated 08.04.2025, but the Laptop of the petitioners which has been stolen is yet to be recovered.

State has submitted a report which reflects that the CCTV footage has been seized. Steps have been taken for informing the respective offices as also all police stations have been informed.

Having regard to the steps taken after five weeks of the incident, I am of the view that the police authorities are working on the issues. Police authorities are praying for cooperation of the present petitioners. Petitioners would meet with the investigating officer of the case particularly with regard to the identification of the Laptop which has

been stolen. If required, police authorities would seek assistance of the superior officers of the police. With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 10530 of 2025 is disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
