Petitioner is aggrieved by the progress of M-235 of 2016 pending before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Bongaon. The revisional application arises out of a case under Section 125 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

Having considered the period of time which has already been consumed and the stage of the case which is fixed for crossexamination of P.W.1, I am of the view that steps be taken for expediting the process for taking the proceedings to a logical conclusion.

Accordingly, I direct the learned trial court to fix at least one date in a month for the purposes of the present case and not to grant any unnecessary adjournment to any of the parties. Needless to state that the learned Magistrate would ensure participation of the representing advocates irrespective of any resolution passed by the local bar. All efforts be taken to conclude the trial of the case by 30th April, 2025.

With the aforesaid observations, CRR 1698 of 2024 is disposed of.

Pending connected application, if any, is consequently disposed of.
