The petitioner alleges police inaction in not executing a warrant of arrest issued in a very old case.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State relies on an order dated 22.06.2023 passed by a Coordinate Bench of this Court in CRR 2232 of 2023 whereby the execution of warrant of arrest issued in February, 2022 was directed to be stayed and the petitioner was directed to surrender before the learned Trial Court and pray for bail. Learned Trial Court granted the bail in respect of the respondent no.5. It appears that a Co-ordinate Bench taking up criminal matters had already dealt with a connected matter, especially in respect of one of the private respondents.

The petitioner shall be at liberty to ventilate his grievances before the same Bench by filing of an appropriate application, if so advised.

The petitioner shall also have the liberty to ventilate such grievances before the learned Trial Court in the event the other respondent had not taken similar steps.

No further order need be passed in this regard. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of without any costs.
