Mr. Indranil Halder Ms. Neha Singh ... for the petitioner Mr. Kanak Kiran Bandyopadhyay ... for the WBSEDCL The grievance of the petitioner is directed against non-installation of new meter to the submersible pump of the petitioner.

It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that despite having filed an application as far back as in 2024, no steps have been taken by the WBSEDCL.

On behalf of WBSEDCL, it is submitted that as far back as in 2024, an inspection has been duly caused and the petitioner had not complied with the necessary formalities of completion of a meter room or complete the boring facility. On behalf of the petitioner it is submitted that no steps has since been taken. In view of the above, WPA 10988 of 2026 stands disposed of by granting liberty to the petitioner to duly inform the WBSEDCL in writing of the completion of above formalities. If all such formalities are completed and if payment of

necessary statutory dues are fraud, the WBSEDCL shall act accordingly in accordance with law.
