-Vs.- M/s Cholamandalam Investment and Finance Company Ltd. In Re.:- An application under Section 482 of the Criminal Procedure Code. This revisional application was preferred for quashing of the proceedings relating to CS/12712/2021 for commission of alleged offence punishable under Section 25 of Payment and Settlement Systems Act, 2007 pending before the learned Metropolitan Magistrate, 7th Court, Calcutta. None appears on behalf of the parties when the matter has been called.

I have considered the contentions advanced in the present revisional application particularly the grounds. None of the grounds which have been canvassed do deter the learned Magistrate from taking cognizance of the offence and/or for issuing the process under the relevant penal provision, as such, I am of the opinion that no interference is called for. Accordingly, C.R.R. 1417 of 2021 is dismissed. Pending applications, if any, are consequently disposed of.
