1. The petitioner alleges that there is rampant illegal sand mining in the area is in question. In this regard, several representations were made and the last of such representation was made on 08.04.2024 to all the authorities.

2. Considering the nature and grievance expressed and without going into the merits of the matter, there will be a direction to the 8th respondent herein viz. the District Land & Land Reforms Officer, Murshidabad to consider the representation and conduct a surprise inspection of the area in question and take appropriate action in accordance with law. The petitioner is directed to appear in-person in the Office of the District Land & Land Reforms Officer, Murshidabad and submit a copy of the representation alongwith the copy of the order and to comply with the above direction within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of the server copy of this order.
