State has submitted a report which reflects that on the basis of an representation of one Madan Mohan Rana (the petitioner no.2), Tamluk P.S. Case No. 396 of 2025 dated 19.05.2025 has been registered for investigation.

In view of the investigation having commenced, further pendency of the writ petition is unwarranted.

However, the police authorities are directed to take the

investigation to its logical conclusion within a reasonable period of time.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 10500 of 2025 is disposed of.

Pending application(s), if any, is also disposed of.

Since affidavits have not been invited, other allegations made in the writ petition are deemed not to have been admitted.

Report so submitted be kept with the record. Copy of the report be handed over to the petitioner.
