Learned advocate for the Commission has handed over copy of a letter dated 06.02.2026 from the Secretary, Public Service Commission addressed to the Principal Secretary to the Govt. of West Bengal, Women & Child Development & Social Welfare Department. As per the communication some vacancies which became available due to non-joining of candidates were taken into consideration. As a result, with her existing marks (276) the petitioner came within the zone of consideration and was placed at serial 165 of the amended list of candidates dated 06.02.2026. She has been recommended against the OBC-B category for recruitment to the post of ICDS Supervisor (female only). The recommendation, however, is subject to the normal verification process and consideration of other usual parameters. Copy of the

communication and amended list of candidates was handed to the learned advocate representing the applicant-writ petitioner.

In view of the above, there is no dispute that nothing survives in the present writ petition. Accordingly, the same is disposed of.
