1. This contempt petition has been filed alleging willful disobedience of the order dated 19th April, 2023.

2. The allegation is that in spite of the direction issued for restoration of the power supply, the respondents/contemnors have not done so.

The learned advocate for the respondents/contemnors submits that there are large number of consumers and many of them had not paid the security deposit and there is a shortfall even in the case of applicants/writ petitioners. However, as on date the power supply has been restored after filing the contempt petition and it was brought to the notice of

the respondents/contemnors by way of mentioning before this Court.

4. Thus, we find that the compliance has been made though belatedly.

5. Hence, we do not wish to initiate any action for contempt in the given facts and circumstances.
