Vide order dated 29.08.2024, this Court had directed the respondents to settle the pension claim of the writ petitioner within a specified time. The writ petitioner has now prayed for interest on the said amount. The writ petition is pending since long. On hearing the parties, the respondents are directed to settle the claim as per their report along with the interest at the applicable rate keeping in mind the condition of the writ petitioner in the present case. The respondents are also directed to take a sympathetic view towards the whole matter.
