The petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that in spite of informing the Bagnan Police Station on or about May 2025, no steps have been taken by the police authorities. The petitioner's main contention is that the private respondents have been to the subject land and abused the petitioner including his family members and discloses that they would initiate construction of the building at the land of the petitioner.

State has submitted a report which reflects that a long standing land dispute is pending between the parties. Criminal cases have also been

registered at the behest of the petitioner and also against the petitioner. Investigation of the said cases ended with reports being filed under Section 173 of the Code of Criminal Procedure. Presently on the information filed by the petitioner regarding physical assault and threat upon him on 26.04.2025 and 02.05.2025, Bagnan P.S. Case No. 282/2025 dated 10.05.2025 has been registered for investigation.

Learned advocate appearing for the private respondent nos. 5 to 7 submits that the petitioner has resorted to complain with the police authorities for establishing his dominance over the landed property.

Be that as it may, since the police authorities have acted on the representation of the present petitioner and a case has been registered, police authorities would take the investigation of the case to its logical conclusion. Police authorities would also keep a strict vigil and ensure that no untoward incident results because of the inimical relationship existing between the petitioner and the private respondents.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 10518 of 2025 is disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
